Haynes Handyman Services

1. Service Agreement

By hiring Haynes Handyman Services, the client enters into a service agreement for handyman services. All work will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner to the best of our ability, based on the details provided by the client.

2. Scope of Work

The agreed scope of work will be discussed and approved before the project begins. Any changes or additions to the project may result in additional costs and will require client approval.

3. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients are responsible for the following:

  • Providing access to the work area

  • Ensuring the space is free of obstacles and hazards

  • Informing Haynes Handyman Services of any known safety or structural issues prior to work

4. Limitation of Liability

Haynes Handyman Services, its owners, employees, or subcontractors shall not be held liable for:

  • Personal injury occurring on the premises during or after services are rendered

  • Damage to property arising from pre-existing issues, structural faults, or conditions beyond our control

  • Delays caused by weather, material availability, or unforeseen circumstances

  • Dissatisfaction with services once work has been completed per the agreed scope and payment has been made

By agreeing to service, the client waives any right to hold [Your Business Name] financially liable for the above and agrees to indemnify and hold us harmless, except in cases of proven gross negligence or willful misconduct.

5. Warranties and Adjustments

Haynes Handyman Services offers a 30-day limited warranty on labor for any adjustments or repairs related to the work originally performed.

This warranty:

  • Covers touch-ups or fixes due to workmanship

  • Does not cover issues caused by misuse, accidents, or materials provided by the client

  • Must be requested within 30 days of the original service date

  • No other warranties are expressed or implied unless provided in writing.

6. Payment Terms

Payment is due immediately upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. Unpaid invoices may result in late fees, collections, or the refusal of future services.

7. Cancellations and No-Shows

Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment are subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the total estimated cost.

No-shows (not being present or accessible at the scheduled time) will be charged 100% of the booked service amount.

8. Right to Refuse Service

Haynes Handyman Services reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if:

  • The environment is unsafe or unsanitary

  • The client behaves inappropriately or harasses workers

  • The agreed terms are not met

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which services are provided. Any disputes shall be resolved through mediation or in a court of competent jurisdiction in that state.

10. Acknowledgment

By scheduling and receiving services from Haynes Handyman Services, the client confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to the above Terms & Conditions.
