Owner, Handyman, Silly Goose

Nick has been fixing things since he was big enough to hold a wrench. Growing up working alongside his dad on appliance and home repairs, he developed a deep understanding of how homes work — and more importantly, how to make them work better.

With over a decade of professional experience (and a lifetime of hands-on learning), Nick is your go-to expert for plumbing, electrical, general house repairs, sheet metal, and construction work. He’s been a full-time handyman since 2011, and he brings a mix of old-school craftsmanship and modern know-how to every job.

Nick is known for being thorough, dependable, and always up for solving a tough problem. Whether he's fixing a leaky faucet or rewiring a ceiling fan, he brings the same care and attention to detail that’s earned the trust of countless homeowners.

When he’s not on the job, you’ll likely find him hanging out with the family dogs — because to Nick, a good day ends with tools put away, tail wags, and a job well done.

Office Manager, ER Nurse, the Wife

By night, Allie’s an emergency room nurse saving lives (by handing out turkey sandwiches) — by day, she’s the fearless office manager keeping Nick (and the entire business) on track. She’s the brain behind the schedule, the voice behind the website, and the reason Nick hasn’t tried to build a backyard rollercoaster out of scrap lumber (yet).

Allie is Nick’s sounding board for new ideas, the one who reels in his endless side quests, and packs his lunch box with Mountain Dew and Uncrustables. She has seen it all working in the ER, and Nick has heard about every second of it (and cheered her on). They’ve always made a great team.

When Allie’s not juggling work and parenting like the ADHD Type B mom that she is, you’ll find her kayaking, perfecting a new recipe, or plotting her next successful mission to drag Nick back to New Orleans. She's the glue that holds it all together — and the reason things actually get done around here.

Chief Morale Officers: Major & Poppy (Dogs)
Major and Poppy take their jobs very seriously — especially when it comes to tail wags, alerting us to the existence of squirrels, and enthusiastically greeting every visitor (invited or not). Their daily responsibilities include monitoring snack inventory, walking across project plans, and enforcing mandatory cuddle breaks. They're also the reason Nick has so much experience repairing drywall.

Director of Passive Aggression: Mousse (Cat)
Mousse is the undisputed Queen of the office. His management style is… aloof, yet omnipresent. He excels in keyboard interference, printer sabotage, and perfectly timed judgmental glances. He has zero tolerance for missed meals, loud tools, or anyone trying to sit in his chair.

Together, they form the unofficial board of directors here at Haynes Handyman Services — offering top-tier emotional support, unrequested supervision, and the occasional pile of fur on freshly folded laundry.
